That we are shut up in some room with a bible and a candle praying and speaking in tongues all day. Come on , we have familes, jobs, spouse, boyfriends/girlfriends, we give parties( non-alcoholic), we laugh, are happy and enjoy life. We just choose just to enjoy it on a HIGHER LEVEL than non-believers:)

I agree.We have this same problem.We live in Kentucky( We being my husband myself and our 2 children ages 3 and 5 ).We have a really good life now that we are living for God.We have a church family and really are enjoying all the things that we have been blessed with by God.Since we have been giving to God by being a light for him blessings have overflowed and we know there is nothing to big or to small for God to handle.Some ppl just don't understand that living for Christ doesn't require alot of changes in their everyday lives.That is the reason why most ppl aren't Christians.I am not trying to judge this is only my oppinion.Just as you said they think we are bland and don't have social lives.We are all children of God and whether we choose to live for him or not he doesn't love any of us any different , but the ones who serve him reap the harvest of his many blessings and promises.I think it may stem from jealousy, fear, lack of biblical knowledge, etc. Jesus did not die so we could live perfect lives He died for our sins.Therefore we are not meant to be perfect only God is, we are meant to live a life praising him, witnessing, and enjoying his promises.Some people don't understand this so they think you must have to do so much to be accepted by God and recieve his blessings. All he asks is for us to believe, serve, and repent.

Non-believers of what? Everyone is a non-believer. You're a non-believer when it comes to Islam, I'm a non-believer when it comes to Christianity. Did you mean to say atheists? I'm an atheist and I have never said or thought that Christians don't enjoy their lives, I don't know why you think that.

Most younger folks relate drinking, partying,and getting down and dirty with having fun. As people with morals and values this improves with age and/or maturity and gets cleaned up some to a more socially accepted level. Christians can have the same party as non-christians just without alcohol,foul language,indecency, and without disrespecting one another and still have a great time! We can wake up the next morning feeling great, and don't have to worry about what we did or didn't do, or have to makeup with someone for fighting or calling names or telling/doing personal experiences, or decide the heck with them and just go ahead and let the hurtful words/actions slide by. We can hold our heads up for not exposing our bodies to everyone or for not having non-marital sex where everyone knows who you were with and probably saw what you did. We don't video our personal marriage bed relationships with our spouse for fun and for others entertainment. It is so much easier to have clean fun and have a clear conscious thereafter!I pray everyone will see what a blessing that living a cleaner lifestyle can be!

You are judging others you do not know.
I'm more curious about why of all things that you could question others about, you would assume "non-believers" think you are not enjoying yourself.
BTW, all ppl believe in something. Those beliefs may simply be different than yours. That's all. No right. No wrong. No higher. No lower. No judgment. Try it sometime.

The non believers are jelious of Christians, and afraid of God, who is someone that they can't see with their own eyes.
And by the way, speaking in tongues is not what you think it is. It just means speaking a foreign language and the rest of th people can;t understand it unless they know that same forign language.
That is what happened at the tower of babble. God got angry at the people for trying to build that tower up to Him ,and he gave them different languages to speak so they could not understand one anther and could not complete the tower.
It does not mean babbling in prayer. This is what God says about babblings.
2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Because some people think that if you are not engaged in total debauchery that you can not possibly be having fun! But like you said, we love life, laugh, have joy, have great sex with our spouses, listen to music, dance, sing, and enjoy the things that most people enjoy. We just believe in clean living and seek to please God by not partaking in things that are not good for us.

Probably it's because of stereotypical views that many people have or perhaps the only believers that they know of are in fact like that. Also the media makes fun of it or portays believers to be that way and there's alot of ignorance out there in regards to everything, this isn't an exception

Hmm. So you actually HAVE the statistics to confirm your statement? I didn't think as much. You see, both Athiests and christians alike, have good and bad occurances in their lives. Neither group have 'better' lives in general. To say christians do, goes AGAINST the bible. I suggest you read it, love.

A lot of people i think have been ruined by the religion part of church, some churches all they do is preach what you can and can not do, and people get lost in that, instead of Jesus, they tend to confuse the 2

Its just that all my life i've been hounded by believers to belief or else i'd be going to hell...its like that's all they do...(granted they are family members though)...but how can you enjoy your life if you're busy giving yourself a coronary trying to convince your daughter or niece to believe?
