First, get the book, Don't Sweat the Small Stuff.
Then start winding down the amount of time for worrying each day.
Example : today worry about whatever it is that's got you concerned for only fifteen minutes. Then tomorrow 14 minutes, then the next day 13, etc...
Finally the time dwindles down to nothing and you've broken the habit.

Ask yourself if what you are worrying about will kill you. Probably not. What's the worst that could happen? I used to stress little things, and finally evolved into someone who doesn't let small stuff bother me. LONG ROAD, though.
Unless it is going to threaten your security, then let it happen, and deal with it! Worrying won't change it anyway!

Some people are natural born worriers. You need to find someone to talk to about your worries so that you won't dwell on them. Usually talking with someone will put the issue into a different light and you can look at it from a different perspective.

Almost die of something like cancer or a car accident.
Not that I would wish it on you but that will put things in perspective alright.
