in the universe you believe them, but if someone tells you there's wet paint somewhere, you have to touch it to make sure?

hmmmm....................... we can't prove there are millions of stars, so we just accept it. anyway, wet paint will affect you (get paint on you) and stars won't.

I'm sure if it were possible, we would go the the stars to:
1 make sure there stars
2 touch them to make sure
3 count them just to be sure

I haven't been able to touch the stars yet, I can't seem to build a spacecraft with enough fuel to reach the nearest star.
