I need to put weed and feed on my grass because of goat heads, I pulled as many as I can but some are hiding in the grass The dealer here said weed and feed wont hurt cats after it dries. My question is what after it dries, my cats like to eat grass and I am so afraid they will be poisened or get sick. The Vet here has no answer for me. Does anyone know the answer or who to contact?

Contact the manufacturer of the product. However if it was me, I definitely would not use it. If your cats eat the grass even after it has dried then they will probably be poisened. Your cats are more important than the weeds. Why not hire some one to pull the rest of the weeds for you.

I don't know who to contact, but I think you're right to be concerned. I'd do the weed and feed the day before rain is expected. That way, the rain will wash the excess off the grass before your cat eats it.

buy granulated "dry", weed and feed, put out the weed and feed as directed
water the yard, this will dissolve the weed and feed and will not harm your goats!
