This KKK stuff - how many of their careers ended but would never if belonging to La Raza? You can't compare the two that way. I also thought the Head of Home Security Mike Chertoff but couldn't pull out the source again.

The Mayor of Los Angeles was not only in MEChA, but was a radical leader of MEChA in college. He has called them the Hispanic 'leaders of tomorrow' even as Mayor. Finally, when cornered at a UCLA alumni event in the Palisades he said that he did not subscribe to "all" of their aims.

Now he is trying to take over the LAUSD, which is in fact failing, but which I doubt will be best served by a MEChA supporter of separatist schools who has no educational credentials whatsoever.

An immigration reform group has started a low key recall signature drive. Since they don't have money to advertise it, they are aiming for the 2008 ballot. It seems to me that if it were circulated to the parents in LAUSD who are not being allowed a vote on the school takeover (put actually in motion only after schools let out and parent communication was limited), it would get quite a number of signatures. I don't know the deadlines for the November election however; they may have already passed.

Diana, you are wrong. It would be political suicide to belong to the kkk or nazis.

How much of this is in our government already...I asked a question like that a couple weeks ago. It's a good question, long-term it can affect a lot of things...I don't see how it's a good thing to have foreign countries influence ours, but such is the way of the world, sometimes. I just get tired of reading about this or that lobby, or this or that special interest demanding billions of dollars for different things. I think if Mexico spent more time fixing their own problems instead of 'working' the United States, we'd be farther along, and so would they. But, that's not how the world works. Effectively, the number of people/reasons demanding money out of the United States is driving us 2 billion a day farther in debt. 2 billion a day. You got 30 billion you can spare, help pay that off? Bill Gates is supposed to have that kind of money, I don't see him writing any checks, there, and if he's smart, he won't. Why? 'Cause the government is on runaway spending, 'never say never' economix.

Long term, though, I think we'll end up signing the deed over to China, they've got lots of people 'doing jobs americans won't do', too, 13 times as many as Mexico, 4.5 times as many as we do, and only slightly in the lead compared to India. maybe Mexico will end up seeking ways to emigrate to China to find work, eventually. I fully believe that at some point, we're just gonna get SMOKED by asia, for good. Who built YOUR computer? Hmmm...mine wasn't built in Mexico...chances are your shirt/shoes/car/phone/computer/tv etc etc etc came from asia. Welcome to the 21st century.

Thats right, keep spreading the politics of fear and hate....I live in a community that is 80% hispanic and have many hispanic friends and NONE belong to La Raza.....Nor do we want to take over the US....So stop spreading your lies....
