We are planning a trip to New York where we will probably be taking a bus tour. We will be travelling with an infant (3 months old). Can someone please advice on car seats? Do we have to take our own car seat or will the tourist company be providing it? Please suggest.

dont take a baby on a bus trip, for the babies sake as well as the rest of the bus. kids hate it and theres nothing more irritating than a baby screaming bout nothing on a bus where u cant get rid of the yelling or leave

I have to agree with the others. ...nothing worse than a screaming baby on a bus. Please, please no!

Why don't you call and ask the touring co. if they have car seats. But would you trust an old and used car seat? What if they forget it? What if it is too big or small or broken? You should ask the company that's taking you if you can even attach a car seat to a bus seat.

But seriously, it will be the most un-enjoyable trip for EVERYONE if your precious bundle of joy cries the entire time. You will feel very crappy with everyone glaring at you.

I've got to agree ....please don't subject a 3-month old to a tour of New York. That's cruel and unusual punishment for the baby and the other people on the tour. It's fair to no one. Make arrangements for someone to look after the baby while you're on the tour. If you're in a hotel, it can be arranged through the hotel.

Instead I would leave the baby with a sitter because having him or
her for the ride would inconvience you, the people on the bus, and
the baby won't like it either.

It is not realy good idea becouse baby can be scared and cry all the time and you also have to feed and change it but if you realy need to do that it is beter to bring your baby seat or handbarrow (i hope thats caled that way...)
