i need to know how to break my 1 year old into drinking her whole milk shes still on enfamil nutramigen is this good or what she is on wic and i have to buy a seven dollar can of enfamil it is costing ive tried mixing the whole and baby milk still not working please give advice

Mix the formula 3/4 with 1/4 milk for 2 days, next 2 days do 1/2 milk 1/2 formula, then the next 2 days 1/4 formula 3/4 milk, then throw out the formula. My son also was on nutramagen, and he too would not touch milk.It worked for me, it'll work for you. If you taper her formula, she will resist less, than if you tried to get to switch cold turkey.

My kids drink milk better with chocolate or strawberry syrup in it. If you don't want to give flavored milk, make it milk or water. Give her nothing else until you get her to drink the milk. Life might be rough for a few days but that's the life of a parent.

Give her two percent milk for a while then switch her over to whole milk.

I know this sounds like spoiling but all 3 of mine would only drink their milk if I put chocolate in it! It tastes really good!

Why dont you try to put the real milk into a sippy cup? She still shouldnt be on formula!

try turning the milk different colors.Try giving 2 percent milk.

just stop cold turkey when shes thirsty she'll drink milk try different brands of milk too it might help try talking to her pediatrician ? good luck and best wishes on your problem

keep mixing it. even if she doesnt like it now, eventually she will get used to it.
as long as you buy her what she is used to having, she isnt going to take the regular milk

This is enividable, and what did they do befor ethe formula was invented? the cow the goat? consider the youngest one is getting weined.

talk to your doctor with the doctors help wic will pay for her formula
