Sweetie - I would love to give you some suggestions, but it depends on where you live and what your price range is. My personal choices are either Outback or The Tree Steakhouse...again, depends on where you live. These are two choices from Jacksonville, Fl.
But, if you are in the Marina del Rey, CA, I would say 12 Washington Blvd! Mind you, I haven't been there in 7 years, but then the seafood was scrumptious, as were the appetizers. But this one is a $$-$$$. You can always see one or more actors, directors or famous people while you eat!
If you are in NY, I would have to say Casa La Femme, Egyptian elegance in Midtown East.
Restaurant style is Egyptian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Seafood
Price $$$ (expensive)
If you are really interested...give us a little more info about where, how much, how many people and type of cuisine...I would be happy to give you additional information.
Happy early BIRTHDAY!

Oh, you HAVE to go to an Indian restaurant. Bill and I went last night...this one is the India Palace in San Antonio, Texas. They have absolutely scrumptious Indian food of all kinds and a wonderful buffet. We had the buffet. They have all kinds of my vegan foods and plenty of chicken for the omnivores like Bill. The spices they use are unbelievably wonderful...turmeric and curry are excellent antioxidants! You will feel like you have been at a feast!!! I know they have lots of Indian and Pakistani restaurants all over now! Great!
