The question above can only be sensibly answered by people who had been in church today, otherwise the answer is irrelevant. Now how hard is that for people who have answered " I haven't been to church today" to understand? Rhetorical Question!!!
Yes, I was in church today and yes I always feel a bit of a hypocrite because I reflect on the past week and remember how far short I have fallen in living a life worthy of eternal life ( its o.k. all the unbelievers will have moved on by now). Tinge of hypocrisy yes, but never despondency as God loves me and will always give me another chance to improve.

Just a tinge?

I feel TONS. Latest example, a couple days ago I asked which represents faith "I know" or "I believe". Chiristians answered, "I believe". Yet when you discuss something about religion, their answers come out, "I know".

Jesus told the parable of two sons. Their father asked one to work in the field and he said, "No." Later he felt guilty and worked. The father asked the second son to work and he said, "Of course I will," but never did.
So Jesus asked, "Which son did what was right?" And the crowd answered, "The first one." He said, "Truely tax collectors, prostitutes, and sinners will enter heaven before you."

The POINT...coming from their own deity is that those who say they'll follow do not, and those who say no to God often do what is right anyways.

Can't get more hypocritical than that.

I always do...what is the point in going to church and then going home and beginning to act like any other ungodly person...how can you justify going to church and then going home and acting completely different by cursing or drinking. What is the point, seriously? I know God wants to go to church, but he also wants you to be God-fearing at all times, not just for an hour on Sunday.

I'm an atheist and don't go to church. I believe that the church and many of its followers are themselves hypocrites. Why? Most Christians I know are very unchristian, selfish, greedy for money and uncompassionate and yet they are the first to preach to everyone else.

I know of many babies who have been turned away from church simply cos their parents weren't married. Thought it was open to everyone?
