Most of you have stipulated in my last question that Jesus is NOT God.

Does the belief in Jesus, peace be upon him, as a ‘son of God’ really make sense?

What exactly does 'son of God' mean?

Can true salvation from God, be the punishment of someone else (Jesus) who is innocent from any of these crimes, to be punished as though he were guilty?

IT IS unthinkable that God should have a son resulting from relations with a woman or that he would marry and beget children. God is unique. What humans do to reproduce should never be applied to him. This is precisely what the Holy Scriptures teach and emphasize.

Why, then, do the Holy Scriptures use the expression “son of God” in many instances? For example, it is said that Adam was a “son of God.” (Luke 3:38) But how could that be? The Torah explains: “And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man [Adam] out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7) Therefore, Adam was called a son of God because his life came from God without human parents. Similarly, Jesus Christ is called the son of God, for his life came directly from God. We read in the Qur’an: “The similitude of Jesus before God is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: ‘Be’: And he was.”—Al ‘Imran [3]:59.

Language also permits a figurative use of the word “son.” In Arabic, for example, the expression “son of the village” is used to refer to a native villager, and the expression “the son of the language” is used to indicate the speaker of a tongue. Of course, such expressions do not mean that either the village or the language has literally begotten children through marriage! Similarly, in Al-Baqarah [2]:177 the rendering “wayfarer” is a translation of the Arabic expression “son of the road.” Here again no one can say that the road has actually married and thereby produced a son. Likewise, when the Qur’an employs such expressions as “the face of God,” “the Hand of God,” and “mounted He the Throne,” these are not understood literally. (Al-Baqarah [2]:109, Rodwell; Al-Fath [48]:10; Al-A‘raf [7]:54, MMP) Finally, not all Muslim scholars object to the use of the expression “son of God” in the Injil. Both Imam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qutaybah accept it as a figure of speech.

Jesus is the Son of the most high Father. The Son of God if you will. Yes it makes perfect sense to me. The Son is the heir to all the Father has, including His people. The Son of God means the Father in heaven is Jesus father, not some dude on this earth. When Jesus was at the Passover Feast He said My hour has come. He knew why He was sent to this earth by His Father. He asked His Father to let this cup pass from Him meaning the lot that was asked of Him. He had been witnessed to by Moses and Elias. He was willing to give up His life for the salvation of the many.

Jesus is the only son of God. Jesus is God.

Pretend that you are God for a minute. And you just created an ant. Your like, " O I just created an ant. And you love that ant that you created soooo much. Then the ant began to head into the wrong direction, headed for danger. You then put your hand in front of the ant and the ant just went around still headed into danger. You spoken to the ant and the ant is so small that you sounded like thunder and could not hear you. So you thought how am I going to help this ant that I love from getting into danger. So you decided that you would become an ant so that you can talk to the ant. Beings you can do anything you can be born as an ant. SO you become an ant and said to the ant, " I am the way, the truth and the life, fallow me."

Jesus is God in the flesh, they and the Holy Spirit are one. God caused Jesus' birth without a human male involved. God had to send Jesus into the world in order to save a world in sin. Jesus' blood was the price paid so that believers would have everlasting life in heaven. Son of God means that God is Jesus' father because Jesus had no earthly father like you and I.

Jesus and God are one. Jesus is also the Son of God.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

If you are going to continue to live by logic, you will never understand what God has to say to you. You must live by faith In God and in His son Jesus.

I don't accept the idea that you should kill your sin to forgive the sins of some people.......
this is the most unfair thing I've ever seen.
and God is fair ,so this whole idea is not true.
besides, Jesus is not the son of God from the first place.

So Mary says to Joe, “Joe, I’m pregnant”
and Joe went “Holy mother of God”
and she went “you’re right”
“Oh Jesus Christ”
“what a great name Joe, oh I love you Joe”
“hold on a minute Mary, hold on a minute, so I’m the stepfather of Gods kid”
“yeah”
“I can’t discipline him cause he’ll look at me and say “you’re not my real dad” what are ya doing Mary, how’d it happen”
“oh it was immaculate”
“oh it better be Mary, oh it better be immaculate”
