Toddlers do better with finger foods.
Breakfast- Frozen waffles or pancakes cut into bite-size pieces
Applesauce in the single-serve cups, these come in multiple flavor varieties so try different ones
Fruit in bite-size chunks, also can be purchased in single serve containers.
Always keep a gallon of milk in the house and give the child at least three-four cups per day for the calcium needed for strong bone and teeth development.
Fresh/juice from concentrate will also satisfy the fruit requirement. Stay away from juice-type drinks and sodas as they are loaded with a lot of unnecessary sugar which is really bad for the teeth not to mention weight.

Lunch-Hot dogs cut into bite-size pieces, fish sticks, chicken nuggets worked really great for my son and still do.
Ore-ida fries are great also and come in the frozen pack with individual servings.
Easy Mac- Single serving of Kraft macaroni and cheese. This will be a hit as you can fix one serving in the microwave add a meat and bread and you have a whole meal...

Dinner- Similar to lunch but you can serve whatever you eat just make sure it is in pieces that can be chewed by the child.
Birdseye now makes the fresh steam vegetables that steam right in the pouch in the microwave. these are great as they are fresh and have no added salt or sauces.

Snacks- Cup size Jello, carrot sticks, peanut butter on a couple crackers, apple cut into wedges, mini box of raisans.
Gogurt-snack yogurt in the tubes which have cartoon scenes and other fun stuff on them that your child will enjoy reading. Come in good flavor combinations

I found that you do not want to introduce sugar into the childs diet as the school will somehow give it to them in one form or another

My 4 year old likes to choose her own meals. If you are planning a week in advance, figure out what are her favorites.

Breakfasts: Cereal (she picked out her own), eggs, cheese, bagels, yogurt, fruit (bananas, apples, watermelon, cantelope).

Morning snack - fruit - again bananas, apples, watermelon, cherries, peaches, cantelope, sugar melon, etc.

Lunch - chicken nuggets, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, raviolis (homemade - but you can buy the frozen kind or even cans), maccaroni and cheese, hot dog, hamburger.

Afternoon snack - fruit, popcorn, yogurt, fresh veggies with a little dip

Supper - veggie choices galore, vegetarian lasagna (made from scratch), Chicken cacciatore, Meat balls and spaghetti, baked chicken, stew, cabbage and stew, corn on the cob, baked potatoes

BREAKFAST: Oatmeal or Cream O' Wheat (lots of iron but more expensive). Add a cut up apple and milk. Scrambled eggs are also good, with a banana and milk. Or supplement the fruit and milk for yogurt, and give a cup of orange or apple juice.

LUNCH: P&J sandwich, corn dogs, fish sticks, frozen burritos, or spaghetti o's (lots of calcium) Add an orange or peach cut up for fruit, and chocolate milk. You can also get the fruit in a cup, or pears in a can. That is a good desert.

DINNER: Chicken nuggets, chicken fingers, fish sticks or fillets, Chef Boy R' Dee (ravioli, spaghetti o's, etc is rich in calcium), corn cobblettes, pizza, mashed potatoes, boil in a bag rice & black beans, or peas & cheese (slice of american cheese)

For snacks: carrots, celery sticks, broccoli & cauliflower (you can buy it mixed in a bag in the salad section) with Ranch dressing , or peanut butter. Pudding in a cup is good snack. Gogurt (yogurt) is also a good, healthy snack.

Breakfast:

Breakfast Cereal (which ever you prefer the most)
Orange Juice
Toast

Lunch:

Grilled Cheese Sandwhich
Milk
Cut up apple (maybe some carmel to dip it in)

Snack (2:00-3:00):

Applesauce or
Gummy Bears or
Grahm Crackers

Dinner:
Kraft Mac & Cheese (easy to make and yummy)
Milk or Juice (no soda)
Canned Fruit (pears, peaches, pineapple) or cooked corn
Garlic Toast (spread sour dough bread with butter. Put garlic powder and parmesan cheese on it. Then put it in the oven on broil and high. Take out when crispy and golden.)

Dessert:
Fruit Popsicle (fairly healthy and very yummy)
