I met this guy on american singles and hes really cool, but the problem is, is that we live in two different states. I live in Texas and he lives in Florida, but we talk everyday. Also we kinda had a fight over the phone. he wanted to know something personal about me and I told him to wait if we ever met in person I was going to tell him. Then when I told him about it, he said it didnt bother him, but I knew it did so I was in one of my moods being stubborn as usual. He didnt like it, and he has never seen that side of me before. So I wasnt really talking and then he told me good night and bye. Well this morning I have tried to call him three times but he doesnt want to answer. I dont know if he is avoiding my calls because what I said to him last night or my stubborness. Which is it? Or should I just give him space. I dont want anything to screw up between me and him because he does sound like a really cool guy. Only serious answers please.

Jesus, you sound like a married couple already. Meet him, get married, and have his babies.
Very curious though...who contacted who? If it was you, I would be curious as to why you're looking at profiles of men nearly a 1000 miles from where you live. I hope it wasn't desperation.

I understand what you're feeling but honestly I wouldn't become so attached to someone that you haven't met. You never know exactly what it's going to be like until you meet somebody.
I met my boyfriend now on-line as well, and I cared for him before we met but when I met him, he was completely different than I expected.
I would just keep time for yourself, give him space. If he doesn't want to talk to you after one little dissagreement...how would he be in a long term relationship? These are all things you need to consider.

Write him an email/instant message/leave a cell message and let him know you are sorry for being stubborn. Just a simple message to let him know you screwed up and are apologizing and ask him to call you back/message you back.
You don't wanna be one of those psycho girls that calls him 50x a day and all he wants is just a little time to think. He may be avoiding your calls because he needs time to think and process what happened - leave him a message and wait until he contacts you.

I'm surprised you even got talking with him being that you're so far away from each other. Just give him (and yourself) a few days to let it all sink in. Then talk about it! What have you got to lose, a chat buddy?
I DID think I could be with someone that I had not met. It went horribly wrong. People sometimes lie. I got duped. It sucked.
Good luck.

Let him know the reasons for your behavior; explain why you acted the way you did and apologize. After that you should not do anything else. It will be up to him to either respond or ignore. From what you have said I am guess once you do what I have suggested he will respond in time.

The guy really needs to know all sides of you. You need to chill out. His phone might just be down. It's not always about you.

wow the rest of the answers are all retarted..if you know what he looks like and stuff and you've talked to him and you think you know him well..it can work..if you continue to call..it will show him that you are sorry or you need him..so continue to call..im sure he'll answer your phone calls soon enough..and btw...distance makes the heart grow fonder

Real men don't do "I need my space." Keep calling him, and if he doesn't respond in a week, find somebody else.
