Believe it or not, a lot of the old style calesthentics are still great workouts for your arms and legs - push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, etc. Flexibility exercises (stretching) and resistive exercises (weight lifting) are great for toning the muscles. I'm a big fan of TaeBo when it comes to getting your arms and legs in shape. You don't have to join a fitness group either, buy a TaeBo DVD and exercise on your own.

arms: Arms out to your side - straight out- rotate (turn) for 10 reps ea (or as many as you can do) right to left
Reapeat with ohter arm.
Now go back to the first arm going left to right
Repeat with next arm
(this gives your arm a break in between)
Legs - lie on your back - legs up (as high as they will go - WITHOUT pain) Rotate in same manner as arms. Repeat with next leg. Back to first leg, and repeat again. (rihght to left and left to right)
Also while sitting, lying, ect. rotate your ankles in the same manner (this works the thighs)
