trust your instinct. if you feel it - then he probably is. you've had your instinct longer than you've had your boyfriend. :-)

some signs:
changes in his behavior - he used to call all of the time, now you hear from him once every two days.

when you do talk - most of the time you have to contact him. he rarely calls you and convo is at a minimum.

you never do anything together anymore. or he's always having to 'squeeze' you into his schedule.

anytime spent together is typically after eight in the evening and its over and done with before 10pm because he's 'got something to do'.

his cellphone rings and he seems nervous, won't answer and when a voicemail is left, he quickl checks it.

his cellphone rings and he is 'selective' on when he answers. his 'homie' called 5 minutes ago and he answered. but this time it rings and he's ignoring the call.

he waits until you go to the restroom or leave the room to check his voicemail or return the mysterious phone call from earlier.

he disappears a lot and you can't catch up to him via telephone and/or text message

he accuses you of cheating and/or expresses distrust about you and your relationship with other males.

he expresses an intense desire to keep certain 'female' friends in his life.

he loses interest in your feelings and/or making the relationship work. he gets angry easily or responds disrepectful at times.

only interested in 'blockbuster' nights.

and sometimes the passenger seat test: many guys ride in the car with the seatback reclined. your man probably does it too. get to know your man's friends...and pay attention to his vehicle. if most of the time the passenger seat is reclined back a great deal because his friends enjoying 'chilling' while riding- but suddenly you get in a few times and its up (women rarely ride with the seat back reclined) then that can be a sign. but don't accuse him outright. just log it in your book. you have to be careful with this one - because he can easily say it was his mother or aunt peaches. but again - trust your instinct. if you know his mother hasn't taken a ride in his car since Clinton was president...then don't suddenly accept the bull corn excuse
