Has someone diagnosed her without providing a prescription cream?
DO NOT buy any OTC medicines. Especially as you are dealing with a young child you must get her to a dermatologist ASAP; if this has been present for a couple of days or longer, go to emergency. If it is not impetigo but something similar, you cannot afford to use the wrong cream.

Fucidin cream is what was normally prescribed when my son got impetigo. I rang Boots the chemist and was told you can't buy any of the creams for impetigo over the counter it has to be on a prescription. (In the UK)
Hope this helps. :)

My little girl got the Impetigo infection from another baby and I immediately rushed her to see the doctor. After the visit, I wasn't feeling very optimistic and my doctor didn't give us much confidence. In fact, I don't thnk he knew what he was talking about.
After finding he website, I was convinced after all fabulous testimonials and what he had to say. We used everything he outline in e-book and I was pleasantly surprised how fast everything worked exactly as outlined.
I didn't know something like this existed, but I'm glad I discovered it. My girl is healthy again and I have no more worries!
Get started and begin using fast Impetigo cure?

Heather,
I am very prone to impetigo and have been since i was little the best treatment that they ever gave me was this liquid medicine called hydroxizene(? spelling) syrup you cant get it over the counter you have to go to your doctor to get it. and it does a really good job of clearing up the rash and things it will still scar but that is a given.

It can be bought over the counter in Boot's, BUT you have to have a consultation with the pharmacists.
There are also some online pharmacies that employ qualified and registered doctors, who after an online 'consultation' provide a script that is then honored by that pharmacy.
