There are several Distros that have a similar look to windows and are as easy to use as windows, not the same, but pretty easy to understand.
1. Puppy linux or Chubby puppy
2. Slax or Slax kill bill edition
3. PC Linux Minime
4 In a week or two the linspire people are coming out with their Freespire

Go to www. Distrowatch to download the iso files for any of these.

Good luck and have fun.

The only version of Linux that is simple to use would be Linspire.
Unfortunately, you have to pay for Linspire.
The closest thing to Linspire would be Mandrake which is now called Mandriva.
You can download it here:

If you looking for something with a little more bang to it but not as simple, it would be RedHat Fedora Core 5 which you can download here:
ftp://falkor.skane.se/pub/
mirrors/fedora/core/5/
i386//iso/

Sorry about having 3 lines for the address but yahoo won't let me leave a link to the FTP site and it also won't let me display the full path.

Good Luck
