Take into consideration I'm not working with coupons and close watch on name-brand verses store brand. I'm trying to fill out an important questionare and need an average.

Well I don't know if this counts because we're a family of 5, not 4 but we usually spend about $125-$150 on food per week if you calculate food shopping, usually we get take out about once per week, and money for lunches at school, etc.

well my Godmother would spend about $150 a week, but then again it was her husband and 2 boys and no time to shop at bargin stores...they could EAT!!!...my other friend who has only 1 boy and 2 girls spends about $100-125 ....she doesnt bargain shop either!
