a urine drug test is not affected by your menstrual cycle, it just shows more blood cells.......they are looking for drugs, and if present, they will find them, blood or not.

Yes, you can. But you should let the lab technician know. The worst that can happen is that there will be too many blood cells in the urine to conduct the drug test, and they will ask you to retest. If you can't reschedule the test, use a fresh tampon right before the test to limit the amount of blood that can get into the urine.

Yes. Before any time you have a urine test, you have to wipe the labia from front to back. So, if you get your period, you should just wipe any blood away. You shouldn't get any blood in the urine that way, and any blood in your urine is going to have no effect on the tests they'll perform.
