well it has the same engine as my crown vic and I get mid 20's in the 4.6L v8

The answer is not simple because many things affect fuel consumption. It depends on: how much and how fast the car is driven, where the car is driven, if the engine and chassis have been properly maintained (eg. spark plugs, fuel filters, oil changes, brakes, etc.) and if the car is in good working condition overall. Most importantly, tires must be in good condition and be properly inflated. You should keep in mind that many things affect the mileage that a car gets and that, as these things change, so does the mileage.

that all depends on the type of mustang you have it is all different from the salene to the cobra to the gt four cylinder v6 v8 v8 5.0 another thing is how you drive it a lead foot will always use more gas fords rock **** you haters F. first O. on R. race D. Day

You'll get around 24 mph highway with a 3.8L, The rear axle is geared down low. The way you drive has a lot to do with it though.

i get close to 50 miles per gallon, i did a hybrid engine swap, a 1.2 liter v-tec.. it hauls ***.
