Well, first off, you aren't really cracking your bones, despite the sound that it makes.

You are actually popping small bubbles of air trapped in the liquid which lies between the bones themselves, in the joints if you will.

Now, for the longest time, most every report I read indicated that this was bad for you and in fact might be a cause for arthritis later on in life.

Since that time, the reports have now changed, and they are saying that it's actually good for the joints and may help them later in life.

I'm assuming that this is probably closer to the truth due to the number of healthy people that stretch before working out. The stretching and bending will typically produce the same effect and this appears to be good for these people as they live long and healthy lives.

Love as always,

Sebastian

It's not good. at first it will make you feel comfortable. But later on, as we ages, there will be some ailments that will occur. It may lead to swelling of joints, and you may find it hard to move your fingers because of cracking the knuckles... it think that's the reason. because when i do that when i was a child, my mom always reprimand me and this is what she often tells me. my girlfriend is a nursing student, she also tells me this reason...

Cracking your bones will put you in a cast. I don't suggest it.
