All the nice restaurants i have been in EVER, whether being abroad or at home have had a dress code, men in trousers and shirt and women smartly dressed, no shorts, t-shirts, or trainers allowed.
People walk around in less clothes because it is hot or they are trying to develop a tan.
Socks and sandles is not a good look i agree but there are plenty of people who like the look and to be honest until you get a job as chief of the fashion police you will have to accept it.

Mostly, they don't care about anyone but themselves. It's someone else's problem if they're vacationing and hit every social faux pas that has ever existed.
Americans think the French are rude for this very reason, in fact. They come over and, with absolutely no knowledge of the culture, trample all over as if they owned the place. It falls under the heading of "oversexed, overpaid, and over HERE".

When I travel far from home I always take a rucksack, which means there isn't so much space so I have to wear the same clothes again and again. I never go to fancy restaurants or casinos, so I don't have to worry too much about my image.

You can only pack so many clothes and it's hard to pack outfits for different occasions. Most people just decide to be comfortable. However, I think that they should stay away from better restaurants if they don't have the proper clothes.

i dont do that but peoplego on holiday to relax and to not worry about dressing up to make other people feel happy, its there sence of styke and they dont care what people think about them as long as they like what they are wearing so give them a break lol, im sure u wear something that they dont like but they dont go posting it on the internet like you do they lol :D im not being mean im just saying people have different styles and they dont go on holiday and pay all that money to worry about there appearence do they! lol. dont be soo fussy! :D

People wear what they want on vacation because they will probably never see these people again. I wear much more casual outfits when on vacation because I can't wear them at work.
