AIDA --I agree with you. It's bad enough that many people walk around like slobs in public. I've seen women in pajamas, curlers and house shoes in the grocery store. What's up with that?
The problem is what is public decency today?
There is too much relativism to figure anything out and not offending someone in the process.
"You do your thing and I'll do mine." That's the current motto.
Except if your doing your thing by complaining, it's wrong and you get accused of being "intolerant".

My goodness how miserable are you today hey, shorts by their very nature are wonderful garments for anyone to wear, they are comfortable and as dress down or dress up as you want them to be, look some people are fat ok, but you have no right been down right rude about them or what they choose to wear have you, so what if people have cellulite on their legs, its just what they are and if you find this so repulsive that you don't want to be round them well ok, just don't be rude about other people, some people are just very comfortable in their own skin and get on with the life and body they have because they know they have to make the best of everyday regardless of size or shape, so if its shorts they want to wear then good on them, clothes do not make the man, its the person in the clothes that matter, your attitude is very cruel and you need to stop judging so much and get a life.

Oh, so fat people should have to suffer in the heat because they have the AUDACITY not to weigh 100 lbs or less! You are an arrogant spoiled little brat!
You are obviously dumb too and have been brainwashed by the media to believe that only the superficially attractive with "perfect" bodies are allowed the privilege of being seen in public. Well, guess what honey? The rest of us imperfect beings are human too. We work, we have jobs, we pay taxes and we can damn well wear whatever we want, whenever we want and the next time I see you I'll give you a great big mooning of my cellulite-ridden ***! Beotch!

I can wear whatever I want whenever I want and I definitely weight more than 100 pounds and am way over 11 years old. I don't have great legs so I usually opt for capris or long shorts but if I do want to wear shorts, I will.

Actually , shorts are very " in" . Where in the world are you from ? How much do you think everyone weighs ? Not under a hundred pounds , that's for sure ! The only people that weigh that much are children and stupid anorexic retards like you. People can where whatever they want. Worry about something else !

Actually, shorts came back in style. Didn't you see Jennifer Aniston wearing the on either Jay Leno or Dave Letterman (one of them). I understand what you mean about over weight people wearing shorts, but you have to understand that it can get really hot during the summer and people don't want to become victims to heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
and it's not spelled "waying" it's "weighing"

You are a bit overly-sensitive, however, there are places where people wear shorts when it is completely inappropriate. In these situations, simply assume that these folks have NO CLASS!! There's a time and place for things like shorts - but you can't impose your fashion police laws on people - this is a free country.

Such vanity, senseless twit. I think when the weather is hot everyone tries every possible way to keep cool. Why should fat people be picked on, because you're vain. Granted there are some items of clothing that should be deemed underwear. I hope you always remain at your ideal weight, goodluck.

If you don't like it then don't look. Fat people have just as much right as skinny people to be comfortable, I would say more because sometimes comfort is all we have because most clothing designers don't make clothes for fat people. Shorts are fine in casual settings and as long as they fit properly and aren't so short that the butt cheeks hang out.

ha ha ha,
hey AIDA, I asked a question just like this - but mentioning cellulite monsters in lycra shorts and got shot down by quite a few people on this site..... but I agree with you completely- these people have no sense of decency at all, and some are just too vulgar to fathom.
But I guess they do contribute to society in the sense that it gives most people something to be very wary of becoming; undisciplined and slobbish.
