I would have it checked out by someone I trusted first. I have owned several salvage vehicles and my husband has bought and repaired several. Autos do not have to be extensively damaged to be declared salvage. If the cost to repair them exceeds the value of the vehicle, then they are totaled. I am driving an Isuzu Rodeo which was salvaged because of dents in two doors. My son has an auto which was considered totaled because of going through a fence and scratching the paint! It depends on how badly damaged the auto was. In the state I'm from, autos newer than 6 years old have to be inspected by a state inspector after being repaired to make sure they are safe. Bottom line - either buy from someone you trust, or have someone you trust check it out. You COULD be getting a real deal! (Love my Isuzu!)

Depends If I could see pictures of the wreck dammage, Flood dammage cars also have salvage titles Need a mold smelling car with electrical problems. Also remember resale will be very low. Any warranty from the factory will also be void. "Remember the bitter taste of poor quality lasts long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten"

I WOULDN'T. MOST INSURANCE COMPANIES WON'T INSURE SALVAGE AND THOSE THAT DO WANT DOUBLE.

I'VE HEARD OF SALVAGED CARS THAT SPLIT IN HALF WHILE ON FREEWAYS DUE TO HORRIBLE WELDING JOBS. IF YOU WANT TO DIE, THEN GO FOR IT.
