I have seen a lot of guys lose interest in girls once they got them in their circle. why is that?
Its like in the begining when they did not have you by their side, they would die to just talk and be everywhere with you, but later when you guys are a couple are going out for a while they just dont have that powerful desire to be with you anymore. why, i dont get it, is it the fact that they think they always have you no matter what?

I want everyones opinion on this.

Depends. If a guy genuinely likes the girl, then no he won't lose interest, on the contrary. But if there wasn't a genuine interest in the 1st place then yes, they will move on once they've had their conquest.

It's not just guys -- it's girls, too; it's everyone. The thrill is, in large part, in the chase. Of course that doesn't mean you stop liking her once she is your girl, but you do have to keep things new and interesting. (See my earlier answer here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20060804112334AAMEVxL)

In economics, they call it supply and demand -- the more you have of something, the less it's worth. If he or she is around all the time, then that person's "value" in your eyes is lower. You don't need to try to impress her because you know she's going to be there when you get home every night. You don't need to do those little things you used to do because you know she won't leave you just because you didn't buy her a trinket when you came back from the beach (or whatever).

That's why, as I wrote before, you have to keep things new, and maintain a life of your own. Imagine that the girl is calling the guy every night. Then, all of a sudden, one weekend, she doesn't call at all. Now he is intrigued: what happened? why didn't she call? Maybe he will call her now -- and now he is desiring her even more! Imagine that they go out every Friday and Saturday night, but this week, she says she's going out with the girls on Friday. Now, all Friday night, he is going to be thinking about her and getting even hotter for their time together Friday night.

Like I said before (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20060804112334AAMEVxL), make a conscious effort to keep things new and interesting, and maintain your own life -- the little bit of absence and mystery will keep him (or her) interested.

Good luck :)

That was their way of getting into your pants, and now you can see that men in reality have very different interests than women. That's what makes them different. But maybe the bottom line is that you two are not compatible on many different levels. What you need to do is make them wait for a year and then you'll know the real man. If he leaves, it wasn't meant to be, why waste all your emotion on something that isn't going to last anyway.

Only shallow guys who only want other guys to be jealous. Thats how you know if its true love. IF they lose interest, its because they were just checking the girl out but if they don't, its because they love everything abot them. And they aren't just winning them so that they can kiss them everyday, they are winning the girl so that they can talk to them because they love their voice and because they are the nicest girl they know. THere are too many jerks in the world that do this.

My opinion is that it's lust. Lust is a weak emotion and never last very long if shallow things make you want to be with a person or make you get with that person. It's bound not to last, because the relationship was not built on anything solid.Example your with some one souly on their looks or the amount of money or sex those things pass away and so dose the desire they bring

Ive been with my husband for 11 years and he keeps sweeter by the day - spoiling me every chance he gets... He still gives me the eyes to (you know when you first start dating and the way they look at you - or you catch them starring?? He still does it...) So I think if the guys really cares for you - the desire doesn't go away - it gets better.

OK I know I sound cheesy - but it's true, I guess I got very lucky.....

I read in the paper today that guys think of sex 52 times a day compared to once for girsl/women and that the part of their brain that corresponds is much larger than in women. That explains why many women are attracted to older men. It must be because they have had lots of experience and learned that sex isn't everything. Your guy has got to be pretty mature to be able to fight his own brain!

Not always. I got the girl I desired 8 years ago and I still desire to be with her everyday.

Yes, men lose interest after they get you. It's all about the chase that excites them. I once told my man "you don't treat me like you use to when we first got together" and he said "I got you now so I dont have to do that anymore. I'm not with him. They always assume we are going to be with them when ever they want us to be and they are shocked when we are not. So go and shock somebody.

I have been married for 10 years. When I first met my husband, it was magic. It seemed like he couldn't get enough of me. It did seem like our relationship was going sour. He didn't pay enough attention to me, didn't give me enough compliments. I finally went to a counsellor thinking it was me. What was happening is that we spent so much time together we were getting comfortable with each other. So now we try to spice it up a bit so both of us keep interested in each other. Hope I helped!
