when 2 pedigree are breeded together the puppies could possible take the best or the worst of the parent.
In australia, cross breeds are very popular...example lab X std Poodle, Cocker X Toy Poodle, maltese X Shitzu and the list goes on...
why lab X poodle? some blind people are allegic to dog's fur which is why the poodle used for breeding- low allegic.
why cocker X poodle? cocker is know to have ear problem- thats why the poodle is introduced.
why maltese X Shitzu- to prevent skin problem as maltese tend to develop skin problem
generally, X breed puppies will take the better of the parent.
as a dog lover, it really doesn't matter, you will grow to love the animal as time goes by..
I know Singaporean prefer pur-breed, and the see X breed as low grade..I totally disagree. its more of "face value"i think...it sound better when people ask what breed you have..a poodle will sound better than a poodle cross...sigh*
myself, I have 10 dogs..8 jack russell and 1 scottish x westi, 1 westi x jack russell..and they are perfect!!
well..some might disagree what i said..but that's what i think..cross breed are generally smarter- "Pariah"dogs will survive when they wonder on the streets..and its usally they pedigree that gets knock down by on coming traffic..
as for bichon X poodle.i think it's going to be very adorable

The truth is, nobody does. Mixed breed dogs have no history, and folks who tell you they have vast experiences with this particular mix are just lying.
