what is the meaning of life. If we are predestined then what is the value of time. If God knows if we will choose him, why must me live out life. If we have freewill, why is it so difficult. Scientifically, how can mental disorders match up with a person's freewill. If addiction, compulsive disorders, or brain damage all hinder us from making realistic decisions. Everyone has either a mild case or just instinct that makes us choose what we do. Is it wrong to like sex if i naturally get aroused, is it wrong to cut off a father who is destructive to the moral of a family, or if someone was to kill my first born will i be wrong to kill them. There is so many questions, lol but we are all here for a reason that is vaguely explained. I will love, serve, and follow the Lord but what else in the meantime. Is everyone suppose to be missionaries or should everyone give up and live in the corrupt society we're doing now? Tell me; and good luck! :D

Is the religion I'm involved in is telling me the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, whether I can deal with it or not? How can I receive the ultimate Truth without being deluded, or cheated, or afraid, or lazy when it stands in front of me? How can I receive the courage I need to see Truth as it is, and embrace it whole-heartedly and fearlessly?

why is it that some ppl let religion control their life? Why cant they decide how to run their lives for themselves? they dont know what's real and what fact...one religion says this and another says that...but what is true?? im not trying to say dont believe in what u want, b/c that would be wrong of me, but dont let religion control u...if u want to do something, and it is against ur religion, do it anyways, nobody should have a problem w/ it, and if they do, then let them be bothered, it isnt your problem...

we actually lost a friend b/c she wanted my mom to go to church w/ her but we arent religious ppl so our friend told us we were going to hell...my mom just ignored her and we went on our own ways...it was sad though...i wish ppl didnt think like that........

I don't know what's the most important religious question.

I suspect the most common religious question is, "dear god, will this sermon ever end?...."

When, if ever, will human beings as a whole evolve beyond the need for the crutch that religion provides? Is that even possible, or is our race doomed to be a slave to its own ignorance forever?

"Are you a good person?"

Take away all of the historical stories and fluff and consider the commonality among all religions and you find, "Are you a good person?" as a core question. And you don't need to belong to a religion to answer this question, by the way.

FAQ: How could a loving God cast people into hell?

"And I have the keys of hell and death, signifies that He alone can save. By "keys" is signified the power of opening and shutting; here the power of opening hell, that man may be brought forth, and of shutting, lest, when he is brought forth, he should enter again. For man is born in evils of all kinds, thus in hell, for evils are hell; he is brought out of it by the Lord, to whom belongs the power of opening it. That by "having the keys of hell and death," is not meant the power of casting into hell, but the power of saving, is because it immediately follows after these words:

Behold, I am alive for ages of ages;

by which is signified that He alone is eternal life (n. 60); and the Lord never casts anyone into hell, but man casts himself. By "keys" is signified the power of opening and shutting, in Revelation also (3:7; 9:1; 20:1; also in Isa. 22:21, 22; in Matt. 16:19; and in Luke 11:52). The power of the Lord is not only over heaven, but also over hell; for hell is kept in order and connection by oppositions against heaven; for which reason, He who rules the one must necessarily rule the other; otherwise man could not be saved; to be saved is to be brought out of hell" (Apocalypse Revealed n. 62).
