There are many athiests, agnostics, and Wiccans on this site that don't know our Jesus. Are we showing them love or condemnation? Jesus would have come home with them, had a nice meal and a glass of wine, and told them about His Father.
Remember Mary Magdalen(prostitute), Zacchaeus(chief tax collector) and the woman at the well (promiscuious,despised Samaritan)?

Tommy G:

Were you born with a contrite heart? I suspect someone probably approached you about Jesus before you were as perfectly righteous as you are today.

Very good Airboy, it's very evident that many of the Christians on here are falling into the scoffers trap of causing frustration and resentment. We need to remember to love and help those that are unbelieving.. And respond with respectful and caring remarks, as that kind of attitude brings Glory to our awesome Father...

That's one of my favorite qualities about Jesus. He associated with people that most did not want to.

**For years I thought Mary Magdalene was a prostitute as well. I don't think that is true though. We do know she had some health issues and had 7 demons in her before she was saved. Luke 8:2

No one is condemning anyone here. If they feel convicted , it is the word of God that is doing that. We are to share the word with the non believers . Dont shoot the messanger here. If you worry about offending these non believers, you are not standing on the word of God the way you should.

2 Timothy 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

It is God's word that convicts the hearts of those who do not accept Him, or His son Jesus, not the one who shares it with the lost person. When someone does not accept Jesus as their savior, it is that choice "THEY" made that condemns them to hell, and no one else. Not the Christian who tried to lead them to Jesus, not Jesus, and certainly not God. That sole responsibility falls on the shoulders of the lost person who refused to accept Jesus and God's word.

Mary magdalen accepted Jesus as the son of God and her sins were forgiven. same for the samaritan. God will be patient just so long and then He will get angry and force the non believers onto their backs and make them look upwards to Him.

Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

The word of God is the truth. Its the whole truth. It does not say to tread softly and make sure you dont' hurt any sinners feelings when you are sharing the word of God. Your first obligation is to God and how He feels.

If someone feels that they are being judge by hearing the word of God, it is the Holy spirit that is convicting their heart, not the Christian messanger.

indeed. true christians must show love to all people! no matter what their race, color, relegion, or background. even when abused christians should not fight back, dont be mean or insultive to anyone. thats not the way jesus would do it. remeber he remained silent as the romans abused him and killed him on the torture stake, so let us immitate him in all our ways.
