And if you did; How did it smell, some churches use incense, some have flowers, some smell like old polish and ancient wood. What else can you tell me about the building. Is it one of those huge old one that echo when the sermon is preached, or one of those small ones where it seems like you are all in somebodys living room

My church was built about a year and a half ago and it still smells NEW. LOL. It was designed to have great sound characteristics (our worship director had a lot of input in that) I helped in installing the sound system so sometimes it can echo and other times a whisper can be heard. We also like our worship to really... Rock so it is LOUD at times.

I can walk outside everyday and be in "church". I don't need a brick and mortar building because nature is all around us. It smells like the mighty oak that is growing near my back porch, which is by far more ancient than the wood that most churches have these days. It smells like the wildflowers I have planted behind my house and the roses in the front. The fresh grass and the creek below my house add to this. I walk with my Goddess everyday, not just one day of the week!

No I didn't but I will next week. We don't usually do the incense thing but there are always flowers. The building doesn't really have a smell. It is a really big church but there is no echo.

Hell No

churches use incense or other type of fragrance, to bring about the illusion that you are in a safe place (God's House) and they know that will have a mental effect on some of the people, therefore the person opens their heart, just to be robbed.
The preacher is educated, the head of the organization has a think tank, filled with philosophers, ideologist and physiologist that work relentlessly on way to keep you coming back for more with your heart and billfold wide open, the only other organization to compare it to is casino's

No, but that's because I practice Islam. But I have been in churches before that have smelled like flowers and some that have smelled like incense.

Yes I did and I wasn't there to concentrate on how it smelled.
Doing so would distract from the worship of our lord.

We meet at a community center. We are not big enough to get a church but I like our doctrine.
