Hi Hun! One thing that will help is to see a doctor and see if you need meds to control your depression. If you have heart ache from a tragic event. ( a break up, a death, a job lose you need to see a therapist to work through these painful issues.) But this might take awhile. My advice is to keep yourself busy! Do something! Try something new! Go outside! Walk in your yard or in the park, by the lake. Its helpful to be around people that love you! If you have someone you can trust and know they will understand you, talk to them. If not set down and write a letter to yourself and try to put down the problem and then put down something positive about it. There is always a negative and a positive. Think Positive! Look at every angle to try and work the issue out! Make a list of positive qualities you have about yourself! Like: I'm an important person, I'm polite, I'm kind, I'm compassionate, I'm hard working, I'm flexible, I'm patient, I'm honest, I'm good at the things I do, I believe in myself! Work on yourself to improve your attributes! This will help you to be positive and it will keep you from dwelling on your hurt. To stay positive avoid negative sources, people, places, things and habits! Make a list of your goals, hopes and dreams! Keep on trying, no matter how hard it seems! Love yourself! Read, study and learn about everything that is important in your life! Your in control of your destiny! Life is what you make it! I am bipolar, have depression, d.i.d and suffer from migraines almost daily! But I have Set up these goals for myself. They have helped me tremendously. With bipolar I am usually depressed and I always have the black fog that surrounds me. But I have promised myself even though I am disable I am not going to let life pass me by. Enjoy life today, yesterday is gone, and tomorrow may never come. Never give up! when you get to the end of your rope tie a knot and hang on! So get started with your lists! And do something good for yourself. If you need cheering up the best thing to do is to cheer someone else up! Start doing little things for people. Stop by and visit someone. Write an old friend or elderly person a letter, call someone. Make yourself a cake this always cheers me up. I'm making a lemon one today wish you were here to share it! Good luck hun! Hugs! Von!

You might have to get a different therapist in a different town who you can trust. Small town mentalities can be poisonous, and if you can't trust your psychiatrist or psychologist, you need to find a new one. If you can do it avoid alcohol and pills if you are depressive because it can make you dependent. Better to take a cold shower and lock yourself in your room with a good book. During the day I garden outside or go for a walk. Sometimes there is something worth watching on TV but it is rare. Crying can help, because stress is like filling up a jar. It fills to the top, no matter what kind of stress you put into it. (I usually cry when I don't want to or my hormones are raging out of control) If you can cry a bit it should relieve some of the pressure. You're depressed, but it seems like you're grieving too. Exercising daily or yoga should help too.
I'm having a bad day too, as I locked myself out of the house and had to climb up on the roof with a broken toe to get into one of the upstairs windows. Maybe we all just need to catch up on our sleep a bit. Have sweet restorative dreams and I hope tomorrow is better for you.

Try stretching and tension. Do you get this often? You might have Chronic Fatigue. Many things help this. Pain pills usually don't. Excersize, multi-vitamin, extra vitamin C, low inflammatory diet, one with fish, fish/flax oil, vegetables, etc. Tai Chi or Chi Qong or easy yoga stretches.

There are no "quick fixes" to your problems. Try and seek some professional help from people that are the experts with these types of feelings.
Take care
