I will be honest. Although I would really love putting God before family, I succumb to my weakness. There are so many distractions that it requires a lot of discipline to put God before self.
However, this is the correct pereception.

Yes, I do daily... I put before them lots of things of god.. I place the information before them what I have read in scripture that day, what I have learned in church, wtc.. I share my faith with them.
Yes, I lay my family before God daily when I pray, I ask god to help them in whatever way he needs to. I lay them before Him..
Your question.. Do I put God Before My family.. breaking this down... what your really asking is Do I place my god in a higher status in my life then I do my family... the honest answer is no.. and that is a sin I know and I don't always do that but it is human nature. We aren't perfect..
We all fall short of the glory of god.
Ain't salvation awesome? I can do all that and still be in god's favor because I have accepted Jesus as my savior..

I love God with all my heart and because of this, my kids are the luckiest kids on the planet. They are 21, 20, 18, and 13. I am available 24/7 if they need me, but I do not medal in their business. Everything I have belongs to them if they need it, including money.
I am blessed that they are wonderful human beings and don't misuse my goodness toward them; they truly love me in return. In this, I find real peace with God.

I see God/Goddess in my family...each and every one...we are all part of the Whole, so putting one above the other would be meaningless...to me, anyway.
