How old are you? And how much older are we talking about?
Generally, if you're under 18, and he's older than 18, that's illegal.
If you have a two or three year difference, this can be seen as weird when you're younger (high school), but not when you're older (my parents are 4 years apart, and my current boyfriend is 3 years younger than me).
If you're into guys who are much older than you (like 10, 15, 20 year differences), just go into the relationship with your eyes open. You can meet some great older men, but you'll also meet a fair selection of creepy guys who only want to be with you because they've got some weird younger women fetishes.
Generally, though, the older you are, the less an age difference matters. It can matter a great deal when you're 16, but not so much when you're 40.

No, not really, it depends on how big the age difference is. It also dependon your age. If you are 21+ years old I'd say 10 years can be the maximum difference. If you are a teenager, I'd say 4-5 years would be good, unless the guy is over 18. Or you can just be atrracted to them but understand that you might not have a chance with 18+ if you are 13.

Not weird to me but I'm an older guy. My advice is to stick with guys around your age. Most guys, no matter what age, are looking for you know what. Hard question to answer. You have to answer that yourself. Good luck and stay out of trouble. Just use your head.

Its not "wrong"... it just means that you need to be more careful, thats all. I like older guys too, but that can get us into trouble. If your still in school then you need to stick to guys that are at the most a year older then you. Other wise you can get into a world of trouble, once your out of school though there really isnt too much to worry about abymore, because then your an adult.

Go with whomever you are more comfortable with. THIS IS ONLY IF you are of age. (over 18) There are a lot of women who like older men. There are an assortment of reason for this but either way, If YOU are comfortable with it then go for it. Who cares what other people think.

Depending on your age, there are a number of possible explanations for this.
For starters, girls typically mature emotionally sooner than boys from birth through adolescence. This is the classic challenge in middle and high school, because girls' emotional development is typically 3 to 5 years ahead of boys' development between 13 and 18, so you have girls who are thinking about emotionally satisfying relationships paired with guys who are obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog.
Young women in their twenties often face a similar challenge, because while men do begin to catch up biologically after adolescence, there are strong cultural pressures on men to stay young through their early thirties (the so-called "Peter Pan" complex). So a woman in her twenties may find that men her own age are still acting like they're in junior high, thinking that this will keep them from turning into old farts, while the guys she finds appealing are the ones who are more secure in themselves and therefore better able to pay attention to the woman in a relationship. There's no guarantee that men in their forties will automatically be more emotionally stable than men in their twenties, but the law of averages is on your side.
In discussing this with my wife (who is all of two years younger than me), she remembered having studied the phenomenon in a college psychology class. A big part of it is that while younger men can be "pretty" and exciting, a more mature man carries an air of authority and offers a sense of protectiveness and confidence. This suggests that a woman who is with such a man is more likely to be well cared for, and so will her children. So women who are at a stage of emotional development where they're starting to think about the future are often attracted to a more mature man.
In short, you're far from alone in this. In cultures where arranged marriages are the norm, it's often common to pair women in their 20s with men in their 40s, and not always entirely for the man's benefit. There continue to be examples of this in popular culture; to see two classic movies that demonstrated it in the Fifties, rent "North by Northwest" (Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint, in one of Hitchcock's absolute best thrillers) or "Charade" (Grant again, this time paired with Audrey Hepburn and directed by Stanley Donen).
So do what makes you happy -- just don't break up somebody else's marriage to accomplish it...

It's not weird at all. Maybe you personally like the features of a mature man instead of childish looking boy. I mostly like boys that are more mature and older than me.
