It's more than possible to be sane, healthy and happy again. But you may not be the same person. I know someone who is really close to me and she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She had to do chemotherapy, all she did was lay around and it almost took her life away. She's had not only physical problems, emotionally she was drained. She became depressed because of all the stuff that happened to her. Now a year later she's almost like how she used to be. She's not the same person she used to be, some stuff better. She's happy and healthy. She also had family support. You should talk to your family because they're there for you. Why not talk to your friends. The best thing to is talk. Maybe you should find a church and talk to someone there. God is there for you!

Same as before: no. Sane, healthy, and happy: yes. What kind of fall are we talking about? If you just give us a generic problem, the only people who can really respond are the theists. They'll go tell you to pray, talk to your religious leader, or just dive headfirst into your faith. That may give you what you're looking for, but I doubt it would be as strong as if you deal with the actual problem. True resolution only comes from the confrontation and victory over the original circumstances. Give the rest of us some details to work with.

You can be better than you have ever been. Failures do not mean the end. At the very least, they are a place to learn something that you cannot experience any other way.
You are posting this under spirituality, so I am guessing that you are a Christian and that you are feeling guilt about sins that weigh you down. We all experience it. In the Bible, God tells us that when we ask for forgiveness, he so completely wipes sins away that he no longer remembers them.
So- simply ask for forgiveness, know that you have received it, and move on. People may bring up the past, but God never will.

It is possible, but you will never be the same as you were before, because you will always have the memory of being in your despondent state. That memory, while it may be painful, will be useful to you; you will never again choose to take the course of action that has led you to this low point. One proven way to regain your joyfulness is to have a serious conversation with God. If you haven't already given your life to Jesus Christ, you might consider doing so. Allowing God to control the direction of your life will be nothing but beneficial, because He knows what is best for you.

If you work at it, yes you can become somewhat who you were before. We all change according to what life brings us to deal with. Just look on the bright side... Sometimes these breakdowns occur to enable us to change ourselves completely and although it is not always looked upon as a good thing in today's society, change is a good thing!
(I am not a bible thumper) but the Bible does say that we are "new every morning." Referring to the scientific, biologic function of the human body to be able to regenerate cells overnight so to speak. We therefore are on some level, a new creation every day.
You can do anything with will power, guidance, love and assistance. I believe in you! You'll do it and you will be right as rain if you really want it for yourself.
Good luck to you!

we can never go back to the same spot in the past. But we can be better, grow, and such.
It is very possible to be sane, healthy and happy again, as I have done it. It takes work to get there, just don't be discrouged that the road looks long.

you are not ruin, although, you will continue falling, if you keep thinking you want to be just like before? what is the problem that you are not willing to accept some changes, remember you can't change if you don't want.???? though acceptances to changes are in order, there is what we better know as Cause and effect, and I don't mean smell the coffee, I mean due, achieved some changes it will do you good. God bless.

While you didn't get into what the actual problem is, there is always hope that you will regain health and sanity. Happiness is a state of mind that only you can control.
I'll pray for you.
