Im not a very mainstream type, but what I dont understand is why heavily religious people feel the need to be rude to those that dont follow ther beliefs? I would think that you should be kind and polite to anyone, I would never think to be rude to somebody because their views do not coincide with mine. Is this a reoccuring factor, or have i just been in close proximity to a small group that do not represent a greater whole? Some insight please.

i think most people in general are polite to strangers, whether religious or not. there are always a few however who are rude an obnoxious in any circumstance. Unfortunately, when they give themselves a label, the people they are around will associate their behavior with the label. I only look at the individual-otherwise, I would hate all people, 'cause when ever people start to converge into groups....they tend to become idiots!

You are just fine, Love....no worries! People show anger & defensiveness only because they are instilled with fear...fear being the opposite of love...stemming from lack of truth & knowing. Do not be offended by their actions or words...they will come to their knowing in their time, and if not in this lifetime, then another. Smile, give them a big hug, and move on your merry way...for yours is much merrier...maybe they will follow...Let your own life demonstrate Love and worry not for those who don't see it...to each their own....Blessed Be!

U r right. I too have met some people who say bad words about other religions here on this site. I think that they r stupid bec if they dont respect others then who will respect them?
u know it is not allowed for the Muslims to say dirty words about other religions. we r to spread it in a nice way.

agreed. those who are distinctly rude and insulting towards an others beliefs, arn't true Christians, true Christians, try reasoning with people, and teaching them the truth of the bible, not demean them. that would make them no different from the rest of the world. hopefully everyone will learn to be more kind to each other.

Maybe what you are seeing is a personal beef between the two parties and it seems that one or the other is being rude, maybe .

No you're right. Religious people believe they know "THE TRUTH" and think they are allowed to apply and project it onto everyone. Just consider it one of their very human flaws and ignore it as much as you can. And when you can't, just tell them you'd like to change the subject.

Where do you get that religious people are rude? If you look at most of the questions you see we are being mocked, and insulted. Being human beings we react as...........human beings.
