It's only ridiculous if the person involved in the wedding finds it ridiculous. Some people are HUGE Elvis fans and like that kind of stuff. However, I've found through research that Vegas does offer classy, traditional type weddings done by a justice of the peace AND ministers if that's what you so wish. They have a wedding for every taste & every budget. If you're wanting to do a small, intimate wedding with a few family members and close friends, Vegas is not a bad place to consider. You have a wedding, and the guests can enjoy the sights and be on vacation at the same time! And, you can immediately start your honeymoon.

I got married in Vegas and it wasn't a themed wedding. You can have some very nice wedding in Vegas just as you can anywhere else. It is all on where you go.

I personally think they are silly but I can appreciate that some people want that. I guess if you are really into, say, Star Trek it would be fun to have a Star Trek themed wedding. Definitely not for me, though!

be counted what style of wedding ceremony you go with for. I have been given married on the Little White wedding ceremony Chapel in Vegas final year and it exchange into fab. return and forth Agent arranged all of it with all of our requests, exchange into concern loose and massive and not high priced. We stayed on the Bellagio for a pair of nights over our wedding ceremony to handle ourselves then went to a greater much less high priced inn, the Luxor, yet each and all of the lodges are large to be common. you ought to set up your marriage liscence once you're there that's common, we chosen to get it out of ways as quickly as we've been given there which exchange into just to boot as that's rather busy, stood in a que for over an hour. they have gondola rides on the canal in the Venitian inn which exchange into particularly romantic as you get sung to, lots to do in Vegas and maximum of categories of weddings do multiple learn first. each and all of the lodges have wedding ceremony applications. One tip although, in case you alter lodges once you're there ask for an improve and clarify you purely have been given married, we've been given upgraded from a popular room to a sequence. large. additionally alot of the marriage chapels have cyber web Cam so your friends or family members that are at residing house can watch it stay on the internet. properly have exciting i'm particular you will.

Yes, I find it very cheesy, especially if both people and their families live clear across the country and anyone who wants to witness the nuptuals would have to fly to be there when if they got married locally, everyone could've been there.

if you've been to Vegas, you know cheesy Vegas weddings are only as true as you want them to be

there are cheesy places (like drive-thru chapels), but there are also incredibly fancy places in Vegas to be married...any big hotel (MGM, Bellagio, NY/NY, Paris, etc) can give you a wedding you'll never forget

Why should I care?

I think they are humourous, and sometimes a little weird, but they don't irritate me and I certainly don't find them ridiculous. It's not my place to judge.
