Well every once in a while there is a dirty cop that steals evidence from the evidence room. There are some nice things that are kept there sometimes...drugs, money, jewelry, weapons and other miscellaneous things like that. The problem is that there is a record of all of this stuff and sooner or later there will be a reckoning. Most of these places in large departments are secure because of the sheer amount of things in there...while in smaller places it is secure because there is just not that much in there.

What would you be robbing from them? And don't you think that going where you know cops are is probably the worst place to rob? Seems like a pretty bad idea all around, as if robbing anywhere is a good idea.

In 1984, the Terminator did some serious damage to a L.A. police station. But he wasn't robbing it. He was looking to terminate Sarah Connor.

I am sure there's lots of stuff to steal from a police station... Especially in larger cities where they have repeated drug busts... (Ok so I probably watch too many police shows) ... but then again, it would have to be an inside job... :)
I can think of a few types of people who would go for the job.
If word goes out they keep drugs there, whoaaaaa!

Actually, police stations' evidence rooms generally contain very neat things, such as weapons you don't find elsewhere, and oftentimes narcotics. Many times police will burn the narcotics in a controlled environment just to reduce the burden of having to secure a large amount of highly stealable contraband.

Yeah. Some time ago, some 18 year old in Colorado went guns blazing inside a police station and killed two cops. He said that the GTA San Andreas made him want to kill.

You dont need to; just bribe them they will give you anything you want. The only place with lower crime is a donut shop, there are more police there than at the ploice station

Not personally, but I know of times it has happened. I've also heard of someone trying to rob a gun shop in a state that allows conceal carry of handguns. It didn't work out well.

well I'm sure some one has tried, but I wouldn't think it would be easy. But look at the bright side if you get caught you wont have to travel far to get locked up. it would be like injuring yourself in a hospital lol
