my wife has been here for a year, from the philippines, and has her green card. is this possible?

Have her try for a student visa. There will be rules on how much she can work, but as a family 'room and board' situation, there may be a way to do it. Look at the immigration web page.

To petition her would be impossible. What you can do, which is what is already rampant here, is for her to study as a caregiver here which will take 6 months and to get a year's experience or OJT in a hospital then apply with you as her employer in the US. That is what some of my friends did and they are now in the US with their relatives.

Sorry, no. There is no immigration category for cousins of LPRs. And college students are not allowed to work even if they can get visas in Manila, which is very difficult even for the highest class of student.

Proabably not. Immigration has gotten incredibly strict these days.

check with immigration, but I do not think a cousin falls int he category.
