slim fast is more a dietary supplement. I tried it...drinking a can in the morn...then at lunch...when supper came i was starving like none other....i think in one month i lost 2 pounds...this is w/ excersise.
To me going thru that definitly wasnt worth it :)

It's a dietary supplement THAT DOSEN"T WORK at least for me it didn't. For some srange reason it made me eat more. How I did loose all of my weight from 175 to 120 over 6 years ago and still keeping it off, was reducing my calories to only 1000 calories for 2 weeks then increasing to 1200. Haven't gained anything since I lost the weight. You can eat anything you want as long as you don't go over those calories. So if all you want to eat is icecream for that entire day hey go for it!11

It's just a dietary supplement. You drink a can of the stuff and skip a meal. It doesn't work. You have to change your attitude to eat healthy foods and exercise more.

Fast means eating nothing. So by replacing meal with it you lose weight siince you ate nothing, onl water. But you gain it back when you stop. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

It's an appitete (sp) suppresor so in a way it does but you have to have a balanced diet and excersise to loose weight.. don't rely on things like slim fast, it takes other things to loose weight.. trust me. Hope I've helped and good luck.

It doesn't "make you skinny", it's a meal replacement. It's 200 calories for breakfast that i can drink on the go that is reasonably well balanced, and means I don't go through two bowls of cereal, swing through McDonald's, or grab a danish out of the machine at work.

But in and of itself, no, it doesn't "make you skinny".

Nothing makes you skinny..... you still have to be active......... you drink slim fast AKA shytfast.... cause you will be doing alot of it! You still have to watch what you eat and do some kind of activity! Slim fast does provide you with nutrients as well as curb your appetite.
