Because people are quick to judge. Just because you choose not to have a girlfriend right now there is nothing wrong. Perhaps if you had a girlfriend and were not ready it would end up being a poor relationship and the both of you would get hurt. So dont worry about what people think. Note you should say gay not gays. Gays is a negative way of saying gay and is offensive. I am sure someone will have somthing to say to me for saying that. But anyway hope that this helps.

I have never heard that before but then most guys I know who don't want gfs right now are trying to play the field with a no strings attached deal with girls.Maybe it's because ther'e some people out there that think single guys should at least be getting laid by a girl even when not dating or else they're gay in their eyes.
