You should use a good fresh chicken stock. If you need it to be vegetarian, make a vegetable stock. Potatoes, and frozen mixed vegetables will help complete the soup and celery an onions

Cabbage/Vegetable Soup Recipe:
1 Small Head Green Cabbage
2 Large Cans Crushed or Diced Tomatoes
4-6 Green Onions (chopped)
1 Large Can Beef Broth
2 Pkg. Vegetable Soup Mix (dry)
1 Bunch Celery
2 Large Green Peppers
2 Cans Green Beans
1-2 Pounds Carrots
Cut veggies in small to medium bite sized pieces, cover completely with water, boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue cooking until veggies are tender. (About 30 minutes) Season with salt, pepper, bullion cubes, parsley, or hot sauce.

This soup can be eaten any time you are hungry. Eat as much as you want, whenever you want. This soup will not add calories. The more you eat, the more weight you will lose. Fill a thermos in the morning if you are going to be gone for the day.
