Lemonade, but isn't it a sin to mix it with anything other than Tonic?
More so if you are British.

This answer is about what tastes good along side gin. Preferably have your first cocktail without anything and then snack after- as almost no food goes good with gin. However, I have found these items not too bad a pairing- Apples, oranges, boiled cabbage, corned beef/boiled dinner, unsalted peanuts, plain potato chips- interestingly olives and fresh cucumbers don t go too well with.

Actually a favourite with old ladies and this old geezer I knew that used to race dogs at Hackney Stadium (before they knocked it down) was milk.
He used to order a double gin and then put a swig of milk in it from a brown medicine bottle he carried with him.
It doesnt taste too bad !!
My absolute favourite though has to be ice-cold ginger beer.
Whites is the best brand.
Try them both, just not together!!
xx

plymouth sloe gin tastes bloomin loverly with bitter lemon.
then you can always try a rasperry collins = shot n half gin, half a cointreau shot, load of fresh rasperries squashed up and shake it all together, top with lemonade or soda.
or try gin n tonic with a slice of cucumber.
sorry, got loads, am a barman.
