I'm single and have been for a very long time now,somewhere along the line i got used to being alone and i just don't want to be alone any more.

Do you regularly go to the gym, or to a restaurant, the store/mall, or any classes (karate, ballroom dancing, yoga, cooking)? Those would be some places to meet women with something in common. Bookstores is another. Pay attention to what their interests are (what they read about), find a copy and ask them they're take on it. It will show you how they think, and get them talking. This builds rapport. Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc. If she is interested, you can migrate to the coffee/deli section and have a mini-date. Totally non-intimidating.... Don't worry about yourself, and making people like you. Focus on noticing them, and acknowledings specific things unique to them. They will enjoy your attention and return it. There are some good books by Dale Carnegie (for salespeople) that give insight on building rapport wiith people, and winning their consideration. That's what you want to do, right? Don't act needy or desparate. That is unattractive. Be confident in what you have to offer (your redeeming qualities) and notice theirs. Remember, the way people treat others is a reflection of how they feel about themselves, so if you are too insecure, it will show in your behavior. This is also tru if you are genuinely interested in them...

There are a lot of online dating services that you can use, I saw on your profile that you are a shy person... what about trying a new hobby that will force you to become more social? Maybe acting classes, or some other artform (if you are a creative, like mýself) that way a potential mate will be able to see the real you instead of a drunk and slobbering mess in front of the clubs. Clubs normally lead to one night satnds and they get really old after a while.

Well I think the best way is at a party. If you see a chick, walk up to her and start a conversation. Or at work, talk to your female colleages that are single. Or go to bars, lunches or dinners. There are many women with the same problem as you who will be happy to hook up with you. i hope I helped =D

lol the way you said it was funny :) I think the best way to meet a cool girl is to make sure your out and about increase your chances by meeting allot of girls at different places like parties, activities even at charity events try to go to a new place every time

The best thing I've ever done was to approach her and tell her a good joke. That way, she knows you have a sense of humor and that you're not approaching her like a typical guy in a club.
I also wrote a girl a cheesy but funny poem once. If she has a sense of humor, she'll like it.

Join clubs? Personally i dont think you will ever find your partner on these dating sites, no way. because they are looking too so its a bit crap.
Go out, do the things you like doing...like if im into theme parks...i will find a girl who is similar to me as she will also be at the theme park. birds of a feather flock together...just be patient, good things come to those who wait.

I'm a women and i can answer that question.the best way of meeting a women is getting to know them. if your intrests match and you like each other it will work. if you are shy then have you and your friends meet up and have them start talking to any random girl and get in the convorsation. you got to get to know a girl and then swipe her off her feet. trust me it works. peace out and good luck

Go to the club and try to express yourself with the ladies. Fix your appearance up a little bit and you are ready to go. Dont act desperate. Try outgoing and sincere.
