As soon as my alarm goes on, my cat jumps into my bed, starts sniffing my leg or feet then grabs it like he hugging me with claws out and starts bitting me! Why?? and its only when im in bed.

Im not a morning person so when that alarm goes on, i aint moving (so its not the best thing to be woken up to), and yes he is the first thing to move cause my husband has been away for 7 months! But my cat does want attention when i get up. I cant even go pee without him jumping on my lap!
Anyway well he just started doing this so its so fr*aking f*cken annoying!!!!!!!

It's a cat thing, a primate wouldn't understand, lol. My Bengal does this when he feels he was not given enough attention the previous evening. He's ready to play and he wants me outta bed. He has found the quickest way to his objective is to atttack my feet and lower legs. He also does this when I spent too much quality cat time on the computer.

You could think of him as a backup alarm, with claws. With a cat around, sleeping in is a thing of the past, lol.

Oh my gosh, my cat does the same thing. Not when i'm sleeping. But sometimes he will just bite the crap out of my leg, and draw blood, for no reason. It hurts sooo bad, too. Most of the time, it's when i'm cleaning his litter or fixing his food (and always when my legs are showing, never when i have pants on). He always bites me in the calf. Once when my mom was cleaning his litter, he bit her on the back of her ankle and she had to get stitches.
To this day, I still have no idea why he does it. He hasn't been doing it much anymore. I try to slap him so he won't do it, but he runs away so fast (like he knows it was wrong). I suppose he is trying to get attention.
Has your cat been neutered? When they are, uh, mating, they grab the female by the back of the neck with their mouths. I had a cat that used to do it to my arm because he had not been neutered.
A friend suggested spraying the cat in the face with water. They hate that and they will associate biting you with getting sprayed with water and should stop. I could never try it because he would bite me so randomnly that I'd have had to carry a spray bottle around with me all the time. But since he does it every morning, you could probably try this technique and be successful. So try keeping a spray bottle by your alarm. When he goes for the bite, then spray him in the face.

Cats get sceard easily when they are sleeping and they have very sensitive hearing I once had a cat and if I moved my arm he would wake up.Try having him in another room that way he wont jump when he hears the alarm clock . and try buying hin a toy to scratch tthey need a toy to scratch to strecthen there nails which is also probably why he scratchs your feet and legs. And try buying him a mouse toy that way he can play with and BITE. My cat use to scracth the rug all the time but he never ruin it. and we bought him a mouse toy to play with and bite.

Your cat wants to play and this is the way he shows it. They are night animals and he could be lonely in the morning and want to play. Play with him in the evening and wear him out and he will sleep all night and might quit attacking your feet.

Your cat Could be attacking you because it wants play or it might be hungry. I have a cat of my own and that's what she do when she wants something.

well maby he wants to play w/ you, if you have an easy to reach shelf or something, take a long shoelace under a book, that should distract him for a few hours.
