Well I pride myself on being a good listener and expect the same in return.
Not pay her way - I don't mind buying drinks drinks, a meal - paying for the taxi etc - but if it just goes on and on then I'm not a happy bunny.
I'm interested in loads of stuff and like to talk about them all so if she only likes talking about one thing then I get frustrated.
Must have a sense of humour
In the end it all depends on the individual, you can tell almost straight away if you are going to click with someone - just be yourself and if it doesn't work out then that's for the best

If he feels strongly about something (he's a republican, for example) and you start espousing how awful the president is, the general direction the country is going (down) . . . stuff like that. If you take the opposite side on everything he loves and believes in he'll realize that perhaps ya'll don't have much in common.
If your question is why he isn't showing any interest in you any longer, you MUST remember that the vast majority of all relationships end in failure. If he is not responding to you he isn't rejecting YOU he's rejecting the relationship. He may have some hangups that he is not quite mature enough to deal with . . . you may've brought this to the forefront and he's not at the stage where he can deal with these hangups . . . instead of confronting them he ran.
