As usual when a serious question is asked someone has to take a swipe at the USA. The UN has called for peace in the area. Hezbollah disagreed with the peace that was called for so the war continues. Lebanon has problems with the cease fire that has been called and so does Israel. The Hezbollah terrorists should at least honor the country they are supposed to be diligently fighting for. I don't know if you can get it or not. Interesting the news media is taking sides when they are to stay objective. No the USA should not get involved.

US involvement is intrinsic to the problems in the Middle East. It would be wonderful to hear that the US will no longer fund the Israeli military, but that will never happen on 2 counts.
1. Jewish Zionist lobby in Washington
2. The erroneous belief that Israel is a true ally to the US.
What we need is a new administration whose members do not financially profit from the violence.

I'll tell you who is wrong in the middle east and why...all the reporters from around the world are free to cover the Israel side of things, but you don't see too many reporters working freely amongst Hezbollah because they get their heads chopped off..

They are a different culture with different ideals. We should not be imposing our values on them as it doesn't work.
Although if we are threatened by an Middle Eastern country, we must protect ourself, but we should no longer be in the business of propping up rulers in that region as it causes more harm than good.
