I know I have spelt it wrong but it's pronounced like that: Min-kia. I think it's an insult of some kind.

Yes it Is an insult but sometimes we do not say to really offend somebody or anything similiar to that....mhhh yeah Depends on the people who use it ahahahah.....
Minchia means *i*K
We use it for example when you get hurt and you be like " Oh Minchia that Hurts "
Or we use it as " testa di minchia " which means " *i*k head "
It is mostky used by friends to one another!

You think it's an insult. You've heard it, maybe more than once, maybe aimed at you: roughly translated, it means dick.
Someone's calling you a dick, and they haven't got the balls to do it in a language you understand.

ha ha .. .. it translates as **** (penis) .. slang ..
we say things like .. oh **** .. of f..king hell !! (well i don't personally you understand !.. butter wouldn't melt !!) well its basically a knee-jerk reaction word !!
