First try the stare-down method. Then try holding some catnip just out of the cat's range but so they know you're withholding. If the cat doesn't crack, then you have to move on to harsher means. This might be painful to you but I'm sure it will work. Hold the cat over a tub full of water, lowering it until you get your answer. If it's a freak cat that loves water, you're screwed. But if the water method doesn't work and your arms and face are shredded, you will have to try more devious methods. However, I can't write them here, it's top secret.

They usually are easy to bribe. Try tuna or liver or chicken. They will spill the beans then.

stalk him/her....they do that to us...
my cat used to be scared of people, but she was curious enough to follow me on a walk in my field. she would stay far behind and when i turned to look at she would stop and pretend she didn't notice me. after i went back to walking, she woul resume stalking me....
