They love to chase anything that will move. Running, ball tossing, tugg a war. Depends on the age. But most if not all dogs even the elderly love to play with a squeeky toy or knaw on large bones. No chicken bones they will splinter when chewing and get lodge in throat. Cats can eat any kind of bones they will chew them all up before swallowing. Hence fish. Love live fish.

You could join a club where people meet for their dogs to socialize, exercise and learn obedience. A club that offers agility training is a lot of fun for a dog and helps the two of you bond.

If you can find a beach they're allowed to be on, it's lots of fun to play near the waves and watch them go up to them, then run back as it comes in closer. As for something in the house, hide and seek is fun!

Dogs love praise and participation . Playing Frisbee,fetching tennis ball,being chased,setting on hind legs for treats, and water ball

I like taking them to pet-friendly parks and playing fetch with them or hiding snacks and make them find them. But mostly, running around and playing tug of war with an old rag =D Make sure your dog has its shots so it won't bite you when you play around with him/her. Have fun!

fetch, fly ball, agility, schutzhund(depending on breed, its German for "protection dog", if you get my drift) train to be a search and rescue or therapy dog, take to the lake or beach, Frisbee, walk through the woods, teach new commands or tricks

well there are a lot of things you can do with a dog like,play fetch, or run, or frisby, or walk on the beach, or take him to the park and take off his leash.

i try to teach my dog tricks like rolo over or chase stuff around the house

I can tell you it is NOT picking up there crap. I just had to do that a few moments ago, and for such a small dog it pooped TONS!
