Is light brown hair considered brunette?

Is light brown hair considered brunette? I know dark-brown or black hair, especially dark-brown hair is brunette. I'm pretty sure medium brown hair can be considered brunette because dictionaries sometimes define brunette as having dark or relatively dark hair, and a medium shade of brown hair is definitely relatively dark hair. I'm not sure if a light or lighter shade of brown hair is really brunette. Also, what is a light brunette and dark brunette? Please list sources if possible, especially internet site addresses.

Light brunette must mean you got light hair, dark brunette-you got dark hair.

Yes...Mine is light brown,with blond highlights...I'm still considered a brunette...

i bypass organic after having years of highlights and my organic shade is a gloomy blond with organic blond streaks close to the temples and on genuine. it is virtually easy brown too. i could decide to be referred to as blond and does not evaluate myself a brunette because of fact i think of brunette's hair is organic brown, in comparison to mine.

Well, it can be considered a brunette, but if you get to light it can be considered a dirty blond.

yes - it isnt just one set color, it can be a lot of different shades light,medium,dark they are all condidered brunete , and if not then what eles would it be considered, not ,black,red,white lol so i think it fits into that cadigory
