how do I approach my family that I want to change from a luthern to a catloic? I am not sure they will expect my decison

it really is your choice. just tell them that you feel more at home in the catholic faith. but before you decide to convert make sure you learn how to spell Catholic correctly. its not catloic. lol i knw its just a typo tho. its almost the same i believe, although i dont know much about the luthern faith. Well i converted from a catholic to a muslim and about 90%of myfamily resented me its heart breaking but just remember god is behind u ever step of the way just pray

Part of being an adult and making decision is dealing with the consequences. At least you're not becoming an atheist or *gasp* a jew!! Tell them that.

It's your choice! If they make a big fuss about it, say what gives. It's your belief and nobody can force you to be anything else even your own parents

they should just be happy that you are religious
