My cousin is having a baby and can't decide on a name. Her and the father like the name Aiden but now they hear a lot of people have kids with that name and want their child to be somewhat origional. My cousin loves the name Lucas but her husband doesn't like it. So here we are searching for boy names... HELP! Any suggestions? OR ideas for places to look?

Try Joe, John, or Arthur. The formerly common names are becoming unique again because everyone wants to give their kid a unique name.

I like Speedy's answer. Aiden Lucas. Sounds corporate. A. L. whatever the last name. How do you pronounce Aiden? A den?

Did your cousin ask for your help? Why are "we" searching for names for "their" baby? Step back and see if they still want your help. Your cousin may just need to vent, not to be rescued. Family is a tricky situation. Be careful how much you charge in however noble your intentions. Presumably they are adults who can search the net and/or the library for baby names.

Maybe they could name it Aiden Lucas. That way they each pick a name they like.

i think aiden was on the top 10 boy names for 2005 and lucas was somewhere on the top 25 i think...cant remember but theyre both quite common....i named my son Gaige...most people spell it Gage but its not all that common I dont think....when people ask his name they always tell me what a nice name it is and how cute it is and that theyve never heard it before and thats exactly what i was looking for in a name

My favorite boys name and what I wanted to name my baby if I had a boy (then found out I was having a girl) was gonna be Tristan.

My suggestions is to NOT use unusual names for boys...it will give them un-necessary problems their whole life. Perhaps your cousin should listen to Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue" for some guidance.
